Equal

In collaboration with Jämställd Utveckling Skåne and Studieförbundet Vuxenskolan we have made a comprehensive norm-critical study in which 128 foreign-born women and women with foreign background responded to a survey about equality and gender equality. 

The purpose was to give a voice to the women who are outside the norm of the concept of gender equality. Through a large survey, focus groups and learning large-scale dialogues together with the target group, we have developed a base that provides other perspectives on gender equality.

The results from the study have led to the project Equal 2.0 which is an extension of Equal where we will create a method and training material based on voices from IKF Malmö's members and target groups. The purpose of Equal 2.0 is to provoke opinion and discussion about gender equality work from an intersectional perspective. How do we create an intersectional and inclusive gender equality work together? The material will be produced and tested in collaboration with organizations and the business community. The project takes place in collaboration with Jämställd Utveckling Skåne, Malmö mot Diskriminering, Studieförbundet Vuxenskolan Malmö and Malmö University. The project is funded by Jämställdhetsmyndigheten.
