Since 1970, IKF Malmö has served as a dynamic meeting place dedicated to advancing women’s rights, democracy, and mutual integration through a comprehensive core program of study groups within adult education, as well as projects at local, national, and international levels.
Beyond our extensive experience working with the inclusion of immigrant women in Swedish society, IKF’s strength lies in our operational diversity - working with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds and circumstances. This means we place great emphasis on tailoring our tools and methods to suit each specific target group.
At IKF Malmö, the work aligned with Agenda 2030 is central to our mission. Our activities are grounded in principles of social sustainability and human rights, with a special focus on empowering women, fostering participation, and supporting integration into society. Our target group consists of immigrant women of all ages, with the majority of our members between 35 and 79 years old.
