I am a deputy member of the board of IKF Malmö and work as a lecturer and researcher at the Department of Psychology at Linnaeus University.
My involvement with IKF Malmö began when I realized that associations like IKF can be an important tool to help women engage with society. IKF is a place where women support other women in building networks, gaining education, and, through new contacts, perhaps even finding employment. The community is built on loyalty and a willingness to support one another.
For me, IKF Malmö represents sisterhood and community – together we are stronger.
A cause I am particularly passionate about is gender equality. It is hard to pick a single memory from IKF, as there are so many wonderful moments – annual meetings, board meetings, conferences, and other gatherings that have all left their mark.
In my free time, I enjoy reading and writing. A motto that inspires me is: “Per aspera ad astra – through hardships to the stars.”
