I work as a project manager at Save the Children, responsible for “Kraftsamling mot samhällsvåld” (Mobilization Against Community Violence) in the Southern Region of Sweden. In addition to working on issues related to the Convention on the Rights of the Child and human rights, I have many years of experience in digitalization and communication, and hold a degree in Media and Communication Studies.

My involvement with IKF Malmö is driven by the desire to help more women influence their own lives. Through IKF, I can help create opportunities for women to integrate, gain tools, and build networks to take their place in society.

For me, IKF Malmö is a place where women can meet, share experiences, and grow together – a community and a home for engagement and change.I am passionate about several causes, but especially about combining gender equality and human rights. What has made the strongest impression on me are all the meetings with women participating in IKF’s study circles and activities, and seeing how our work truly makes a difference.Volunteering has always been a central part of who I am. Through initiatives like Soppkök Malmö and other local projects, I have experienced how much can change when people come together to make a difference.

A quote that inspires me is: “Give the children love, more love, and even more love, and common sense will follow by itself.” – Astrid Lindgren.
