Business Navigation in Sweden (BNS) was a project running from 2016 to 2019, aimed at helping newly arrived women start and manage businesses in Sweden.
Between 2016 and 2018, 96 newly arrived women participated in the project. Of these, 23 started their own businesses, and 95% went on to full-time studies, employment, internships, or other initiatives through the Public Employment Service.
BNS was funded by the Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth (Tillväxtverket), co-financed by the Public Employment Service (Arbetsförmedlingen), and served as a fast track program for newly arrived female entrepreneurs.
“To me, BNS has been very special and helpful. I am very grateful for all the information I received throughout the program. I am super glad for all the like-minded women I met and for the bond we share. Thank you, Ann and Kajsa!”
