NEWMEN aimed to challenge and replace stereotypical notions of traditional masculinity with a more equitable perspective by promoting alternative masculinities and emotional intelligence. We focused on developing the skills needed to deconstruct stereotypes and roles rooted in traditional or hegemonic masculinity.
The project sought to create a training curriculum on alternative masculinities designed to educate men in workplaces. Our target audience included employees and managers across various companies and organizations.
The vision of the project was to develop a program that positively impacts men, enabling them to express themselves authentically at work without feeling pressured to conform to certain stereotypes. Additionally, the project aimed to support the fight against sexism and to prevent gender-based violence and other forms of abuse.
