Equal

In collaboration with Jämställd Utveckling Skåne and Studieförbundet Vuxenskolan, we have conducted a comprehensive norm-critical study involving 128 immigrant women and women of foreign descent. Participants responded to a survey focused on equality and equity. The aim was to give a voice to women who fall outside the traditional norms of gender equality. Through a large-scale survey, focus groups, and collaborative learning dialogues with the target group, we have developed a resource that offers alternative perspectives on equality.

You can read the analysis from the survey study and focus groups here

The results from the study have led to the Equal 2.0 project, a continuation of Equal, where we have developed method and training materials based on the voices of IKF Malmö’s members and target groups.

The purpose of Equal 2.0 is to raise awareness and stimulate discussion around gender equality work from an intersectional perspective. How can we collaboratively create an intersectional and inclusive approach to gender equality?

The materials have been developed and tested in collaboration with organizations and the business community. The project has been carried out in partnership with Jämställd Utveckling Skåne, Malmö Mot Diskriminering, Studieförbundet Vuxenskolan Malmö, and Malmö University.

The project was funded by Jämställdhetsmyndigheten.
